The Denk family has been making wine in Weißenkirchen since 1861, and since 2007 they have also given riders somewhere to sleep: eleven rooms and an apartment, with the family Heuriger downstairs. Which is the ideal arrangement in the Wachau — dinner and wine in the same house as your bed, and the Danube cycle path at the end of the lane.
