About this route
South of Graz the Mur slows down and so does everything else. The path runs on soft gravel through poplar galleries, past oil mills where roasted pumpkin seeds are pressed into something almost black, and up short ramps to Buschenschanken that only open when the grower feels like it. This is Styria at its least photographed and most edible; bring a bottle bag.
